Celia Jacobs is an illustrator living and working in Los Angeles. She was born in Portland, Oregon and lived there until moving south in 2013. Her interests include nature, science, feminism, and social issues and she makes work about them all in California technicolor and general West Coast sensitivity. She paints and draws for various publications, brands, and galleries, once from an oceanographic research vessel and once from a lab in Bermuda, but mostly from the home studio she shares with a black and white dog named Archie.
